Planning Permission has now been granted to redevelop the existing shopping centre, which was originally constructed in the 1960's into a major new town centre scheme comprising retail, leisure and residential elements.

The project will be the bridgehead for the regeneration and rebirth of the city quadrant.

The architectural design will be unique in its approach to Irish City Centre retailing, seeking to create a vibrant assemblage of streets, squares and piazzas around which the people of Dublin can shop, relax, indulge and live.

The project is scheduled to commence construction in 2006 with completion by the summer of 2009.
